Robert (Bob) Walker is an Adjunct Professor of Religious Studies at Iona College in New Rochelle, NY and a teacher with Rising Hope, Inc., an organization that provides college courses in New York State prisons. He is also a curriculum writer for the United Methodist Publishing House and has written more than 20 adult study books over the past 28 years. Previously, he served as pastor of United Methodist churches in Connecticut and Texas. He is a clergy member of the New York Annual Conference.
Bob holds degrees from Yale Divinity School, Perkins School of Theology, and Southern Methodist University.
He has written several books, including You Might Be a United Methodist If…, Encounters on the Road to the Cross, The Jesus I Knew, Politically Correct Parables, Politically Correct Old Testament Stories, and Encounters With the Living God: Old Testament Characters Tell Their Own Stories.
